Trump Ocean Club breaks ground on Isla Viveros Beach Club
Panama City Panama Condos are a dime a dozen these days: Most have a pool, lobby, maybe a gym, and if you’re lucky, an ocean view. Granted, not an ocean that you can swim in, but at least one that you can look at.
Fast forward to July with the opening of the Trump Ocean Club. Could the name “Ocean Club” just be a sly tactic by Donald to lure buyers into an otherwise standard condo with a view? This past weekend, we got the answer.
Panama Equity was one of a select few real estate companies invited to tour the location of the Isla Viveros beach club, which has just broken ground. In a word: IMPRESSIVE!

White sand beaches are hard to find in Panama, which is why I for one was amazed at the powdery white sand of the Pearl Islands and Isla Viveros in particular. Maybe it was that very white sand that made the blue water look that much clearer, or maybe it helped that there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Either way, I was blown away by a) the development that’s already on Isla Viveros and b) the site purchased by Trump for their beach club. This is certainly a testament to the Trump name and their push for a five star presence in Panama.
During our trip, we had the opportunity to speak with the engineers and see the actual plans for the Trump Panama beach club and for all intents and purposes, it looks like the developers are going to be delivering on their promises of a first class beach club: one that all buyers of Trump Ocean Club units will have access to.
Trump Panama Observations
A few observations from Panama Equity’s recon mission:
- Topography is sloping downward on the site, meaning the infinity pool will be looking out towards the water
- There WILL be two restaurants as a part of the beach club
- We did NOT see any area within the beach club for marina slips, however the private “Isla Viveros” project WILL have one which we were reassured would be available to TOC beach club members and guests
- A single, large infinity pool flanked by jacuzzis, several sun decks, as well as bathroom and restaurant facilities towards the back
- There are already several beach front houses completed with more in the works

why is the trump island called isla vivero i thought it’s pearl island. and when will it be finished.
Peter, thank you for dropping by! To answer your question, the beach club for Trump Panama will be located on Isla Viveros, which is one of the islands in the “Pearl Island” chain. Construction is less than three stories high, so should not take very long to complete. The hotel will be delivered in July.

Hi Andy, I’ll work on a few new pictures of the Trump beach club on Viveros. Best way at this time to get out to Vivieros is either taking a helicopter or a flight to Contadora and the short boat trip from there to Viveros. Shoot me line before you come down and we’ll grab a drink!
