Getting To Punta Pacifica

Located at the southern tip of San Francisco, Punta Pacifica was built on reclaimed mudflats. But what was once unusable coastal land, today includes some of the highest-valued real estate in the country. Less than three square miles in area, Punta Pacifica packs a ton into a geographically small package.

Close to the financial district, two of the city’s best malls, two prestigious hospitals, fine dining, convenient shopping, and still only a 15-minute ride to the Tocumen Airport, this is one area of Panama City that really does have it all.

What to Expect

One thing everyone agrees with is that there is always plenty to do in this area. For those who enjoy fresh air and sunshine, this area is one of the most walkable areas of the city, making it easy to get outdoors, even if you’re just running to the bank. Residents in search of a bit more of the outdoors can easily catch a ferry to Saboga Island, replete with empty beaches and natural rainforest, making the perfect day trip.

For dining, there are tons of options to eat well in and around the neighborhood. There is also an abundance of dining options located in both Multiplaza and Multicentro malls. These malls offer both casual food court fare as well as higher-end restaurants and trendy bars where you can meet up with friends for happy hour or enjoy a romantic date.

Shopping in Punta Pacifica

If you haven’t caught on by now, one of the huge selling factors of Punta Pacifica is its convenience. This theme holds true when it comes to shopping and running errands as well. The Super 99, located at the entrance to Punta Pacifica is large, clean, and is open 24 hours a day. Nearby there is a Power Club Gym, Scotia Bank, and Banco General, making it easy to run all of your errands at once.

If you’re looking for something specialized when it comes to grocery shopping, there are also a number of gourmet and specialty food stores. Both Etika and Organica Store offer tasty grocery options if you are looking for vegan or organic fare.

When it comes to shopping for clothes and accessories, MultiPlaza is home to over 200 shops and restaurants, not to mention a 10-screen movie theater complex
