Why Mare?

Mare is the newest residential section within the larger Casamar beach community, positioned between the Pacific Ocean and a riverfront edge that gives the project a more private and nature-oriented setting. The master plan was designed around the natural shape of the land, with curved internal roads, landscaped green areas, and lower-density planning that helps the community feel more open and connected to its surroundings rather than heavily built out.

 

One of the defining aspects of Mare is the mix of beachfront, riverfront, and Water Park lots, giving buyers different lifestyle options within the same community. The project includes 25 residential lots in total, with several positioned directly along the river, others near the beach, and a small collection surrounding the Water Park area.

 

The community was planned with custom homes in mind rather than repetitive prebuilt residences, allowing owners more flexibility in how they design and build. According to the project materials, Mare also includes architectural exterior design guidelines intended to maintain a cohesive visual identity throughout the neighborhood while still allowing homeowners to personalize interior layouts and living spaces.

 

Within the larger Casamar community, residents have access to beach amenities, pools, green areas, and recreational spaces, while Mare itself was designed to feel quieter and more integrated into the surrounding landscape. The master plan places the residential lots alongside landscaped common areas and close to the beach club and water-focused amenities without making the community feel overly dense.

 

Another aspect that separates Mare from many traditional beach developments is its balance between beach living and natural green surroundings. The project branding emphasizes the idea of living “between the sea and the river,” with infrastructure works already underway including land preparation, road layouts, and site development for the next phase of the community.

Owners at Mare have access to the wider amenities within Casamar, one of the most established beach communities along Panama’s Pacific coast. All about Casamar

Casamar is one of the best-known gated beach communities along Panama’s Pacific coast, located in San Carlos about 90 minutes from Panama City.
