Located in the town of Sora, just 19 kilometers from the Pan-American Highway in the District of Chame, Altos Del Maria consists of 15,000 hectares (just over 37,000 acres), approximately 1,600 homes, and approximately 125 full time residents.
Located about an hour and a half from Panama City and 30 minutes from Coronado, Altos Del Maria is convenient enough, but manages to feel entirely disconnected from city life. A private back road allows residents access to El Valle de Anton in 30 minutes as well.
There are also beaches and golf nearby, but what really draws residents to Altos Del Maria are the pristine natural landscapes and relaxed vibe of the small community that you can enjoy from your balcony or just by looking out your bedroom window.
Altos Del Maria residents consist of Panamanians, most of whom have second homes there, and nature-loving expats that come from all over the world.
